CAPS

A parachute for the entire aircraft.

The Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS) is a whole-aircraft parachute built directly into the Vision Jet. In the event of a serious emergency, a single handle deploys a ballistic parachute that lowers the entire aircraft safely to the ground. CAPS has saved over 200 lives and is standard on every Cirrus aircraft we fly.

No other personal jet in the world offers this level of last-resort protection.

Garmin Autoland

Emergency technology that can land itself.

The Vision Jet is equipped with Garmin Autoland, an emergency system that can autonomously fly and land the aircraft at the nearest suitable airport if the pilot becomes incapacitated. It handles everything — navigation, ATC communication, runway selection, approach, and landing — without any input from passengers.

Garmin Autoland is the first FAA-certified autonomous emergency landing system in aviation.

Fly with total confidence
